Nora – Kansas Snooky – DOB Sept. 2/09
Female fawn – 56 lbs. Did not race at all; very shy. She is still quite shy around other people. At least I know that she’s happy at home.
I went to the Hi Speed Hounds website today just to see what was happening there and spotted the heading “Nora”. Being curious I clicked on it and was so surprised to see photos of this dog come up. I love Greyhounds, but have pretty much decided that we’re not in a positition to take one because of our age, health concerns, a very busy life and not enough time to devote to another dog as we already have three small dogs and five cats. However, I was absolutely enamored with Nora when I saw her picture. I would have reconsidered our decision if it were not for the fact that there was a notation of “Adoption Pending” with her photograph. I hoped that she would have a wonderful life with someone who absolutely loved her. I just want to tell you that I’m delighted to see that she is now living the good life. I hope that you continue to post photos of her from time to time. May you have many happy years together.
Hi Mardi
Thank you for posting to the website. Marie-Reine has done a great job with Nora, each time we see her she is coming out of her shell more and more.
